The Background menu allows you to change the background style of each page.
Important: The default “Body” background style cannot be erased.
Presets
The Presets feature contains a list of your background styles, each with its own title. You can create, delete, or duplicate any preset except for the default one.
- To add a new preset, click the Add button and specify the background’s title before saving.
- To duplicate a preset, click Duplicate.
- To remove a preset, click Remove.
Background Properties
- Colour: Change the background colour of your site. There are 25 preset colours and 5 additional (independent) colours. To access more colours, click the More Colours link.
- Background Image: Add or remove a background image. If no image has been set, click the + button to be redirected to the Media Library. Select an image and click Apply.
- Size: Adjust the size of the background image with three options: Original, Cover, and Contain.
- Position: Adjust the position of the background image by selecting the appropriate arrow buttons (the top left arrow is the default).
- Tile: Repeat the background image using the Repeat feature, available in Repeat, Repeat X, and Repeat Y modes.
Fixed Background
The Fixed feature, enabled by default, ensures the background remains in place while users scroll. If disabled, the background will scroll along with the content.
Note: Background presets can be applied across multiple pages and will affect all those pages.
