This widget allows you to add/change/remove text, modify the font type, style, colours, or size of text on your website and add or remove hyperlinks.
The "Text" widget has the following standard features: "Spacing" and "Animation".
The text widget height is the same as the text's height within the widget.
When you place a Text widget on the page - you will see the "Text Editor" with a variety of editing tools.
You can change the formatting of text (Bold, Italic, or Underline), customise Heading tags for SEO purposes, and modify the font size and alignment of content with in each text block.
"Styles" - this dropdown contains a list of text styles, which can be used within the Text widget. For more details on how to create text styles please see the following tutorial Text Styles.
"Text Format" allows you to set Headings ("Normal" is used by default). Heading tags available are H1, H2, H3 and H4
"Font Size" option allows you to change the font size.
You can use left alignment, centre alignment, right alignment, and justified text to align text within a text block.
In order to edit text colour please click "A" button.
There are 25 preset colours (based on the global colour settings) and 5 additional (independent) colours. The "Default" colour option is assigned to the entire text by default. You may manually change the colour of the colour picker element by clicking on it. Please select "More Colours" if you wish to modify colours like transparency etc.
Within the colour picker section you can choose any colour. In the left column you can see your current colour, while in the right section you can see your new colour. In order to save results please click "Ok" button. If you wish to abandon changes - please click "Cancel" button.
It's also possible to set the background colour under the text in the Text widget to highlight an important part of the text.
If you wish to create a hyperlink link - please click "Link" button. If you wish to remove hyperlink link - please click "Remove Link" button.
If you want to indent or unindent text within a text widget, use the appropriate buttons.
If you want to create a "numbered" or "bulleted" list - you can use the appropriate buttons.
"Insert Icon" feature allows you to add various icons into the text.
The "Search" field allows you to locate the icons you need based on certain keywords (for example, type "music" in the "Search" field to find music-related symbols).
You can manually choose any icon from the list, press "Apply" button and then icon will appear in the text directly.
"Set fixed width for the icon" feature allows you to display icons on the same level when you create vertical lists.
If you want to remove text formatting - click on the "Tx" button.
You can "Undo"/"Redo" changes for the Text widget, using appropriate back or forward arrow buttons.
"Tables" feature allows you to create tables (like an Excel document) and fill its area not only with text but with various Go Edit widgets.
You may divide the table into as many rows and columns as you want, enable headers, pick a design style that affects it, add stripes, and utilise a hover effect on it. If you want to utilise a smaller preview version of the table, you may turn on a compact style.
